WE BELIEVE IN SHOWING THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST AND FLOWING IN THE HOLY GHOST
THE WORD OF THE LORD
"Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord."
"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen'. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
WELCOMING YOU HOME
Our prayer is that you experience a special touch from the presence of God as you browse our site.
This year is going to be another awesome year for the saints as God pours out His Spirit!
2019 is the year of Elevation. God is taking our family, our lives and our substance to a new level. (Ezekiel 37: 12-14)
This year God is calling for a complete "Yes Lord!" He wants us to come into agreement with the things He has spoken to and/or over us. He wants us to come into agreement with His timing for us.
Lastly, He wants our wills to come into agreement with His will for our lives.
We shall see His word in action. We shall confess Him as Lord of The Promise, Power of the Highest!
"God has spoken, Let the Church say Amen!"

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Harris Temple has a very interesting journey in which few to none are able to accurately account when the church was actually formed. Harris Temple, formerly known as Elba Church of God in Christ is believed to have started in the early 20s in a building behind the home of Scott & Christine Lindsey on Adams Street. The saints held prayer meetings and bible studies on a weekly basis and began to search for a preacher to help them organize a church.
SERVANTS IN MINISTRY
The Servants in Ministry have been chosen to serve by our Senior Pastor under the leading of the Spirit of God. The Servants in Ministry of Harris Temple takes our spiritual life seriously in dedication and commitment; living a life of repentance, examining our motives and feelings in the light of the Word of God and the church teachings. The role of the church is to change unbelievers into believers (Evangelism) and then, through spiritual caring, takes the new believer a step higher to sainthood (service); and then equips them to become servants in the ministry. We just have one question today: Are you ready to accept the call of servant-hood?
Harris Temple COGIC is one church, with one message crossing racial and denominational lines in full anticipation of creating a united force to do Kingdom work in the end time. Our services are designed to uplift, encourage, empower & refresh those attending. Our worship experience caters to all age groups. Though are services have a set order of worship weekly because we are a spirit lead church programs are subject to change according to the leading of the Spirit of God. Tell a neighbor, invite a friend, bring a family member to Harris Temple Church of God in Christ where the table is spread and the feast of the Lord is going on.
